Mission Statement
The mission of International Nepali Literary Society (INLS), Florida Chapter is to preserve and promote Nepali identity by uniting people of Nepali origin specifically around the State of Florida and, generally, around the globe by means of continuous encouragement for promotion of Nepali languages through writing, reading, publishing, distributing, and translating Nepali literature, culture, and arts.
FROM PRESIDENT’S PEN
Dear Friends:
I do take uttermost pride
to lead this organization
as a President for the tenure
2009-2011. First of all, let me thank our outgoing
president Dr. Bidya Raj Subedi for his outstanding
leadership in guiding the INLS FL- Chapter over the past
two years. Equally, I would like to thank all the
advisers and the entire executive members who always
extended their full support to all the activities
initiated by Mr. Subedi.
I take this opportunity to thank Dr. Shiva Nepal, election chief, and his election board comprising Mr. Pramod Sharma, Dr. Khushi Ram Tiwari and Mr. Sundar Joshi who successfully completed the task of electing the new INLS Board representing all sector of Florida. Similarly, I would like to thank all the INLS Executive members and the coordinators and all the individual participants especially, all the beloved children of Pathashala for making our Annual Convention a grand Success! Let me take the pleasure to welcome and introduce the newly elected INLS FL-Chapter Executive Committee members. Together with this team I would like to take my sincere oath to give consistency to all the ongoing yearly activities of our chapter and always work to promote the Nepali language, culture & tradition here in the state of Florida in upholding the INLS constitution to fulfill all the goals set by our charter.
